It is a good phone, a big improvement over Nexus 5 in all aspects - quicker, better speaker, better mike, much nicer screen, better GPS, higher everything. However, it's so large that I as a pretty big man, am having some issues grabbing it. I think 5.5" would are better.
I got mine right before Black Friday, so i have been using for few months now. I have to mention, Google and Motorola did fantastic job in making this behemoth. Let me begin by speech, the value of the phone is "outrageous" $650 + tax. Damn, that's pricey. I had to accept 32 GB version. Nevertheless, this phone's style is beautiful and screen appearance amazingly smart. The specs wise, this phone is a monster and i have yet to encounter any software system bugs or hiccups. Google's approach with android 5.0 aka Lollipop is quite the extravaganza, a perfect step up to Kitkat. I can not wait for a new incremental update.
1. Camera is best, positively a step up in right direction.
2. Processor "snapdragon 805" cannot go wrong with this processor.
3. Speakers ar as good as HTC One, if not better.
4. Screen! there is no word to describe the gorgeous screen.
5. Android Wear!
1. Hefty price tag.
2. Battery life.
3. Screen size, Some may not just like the screen size. Personally, i really like the screen size of the phone!
4. nobody hand mode, undoubtedly hurts the usability!
5. supply issues.
-Large battery life 3200 mah. can nearly last a day on full charge
- Quad HD screen. one of the best displays out there
- Turbo Charge: With turbo charge one can charge the battery to a substantial quantity within a couple of minutes
- Screen size is a bit large and can be cumbersome to fit in pockets
-Camera quality isn't superb in low light-weight situation .
-No way to turn encoding off.
I've had this phone for over a year i i could not have asked for a far better robust one the sole issue I could ask for would be maybe more cases created for it but i know that is not the manufacturings downside but ten out of ten have recommended...
Great phone, better part is it's pure Google, so it does not have a bunch of bloatware that you cannot uninstall. Quick processor and smart amount of ram. It's a big,big phone although. Screen is crisp amd clear, speakers sound superb. Nice for watching videos and movies. Works on Sprint and tmobile mobile and att and i think verizon too. Not several unlocked phones that work on cdma and gsm. Nice phone
Great phone at a good value. Still a solid phone years once it came out. simply downloaded new android OS. Works nice. Screen size and quality is wonderful. Camera is a hit or a miss. Some photos come out spectacular, some ar just so so.
My last phone was lg gflex. I completely loved it and had the largest screen on the market for a time. This screen is just about the same size. It's nice quality graphics. It works so well with all my apps. The battery is eh but if you keep your screen at 50 % or less you get a full day of med serious use roughly. Ne'er reboots like my older phones. Pretty quick processor.
Just got it around one week, it dropped from my car, and got broken screen/glass. It is so fragile. My HTC and iphone 6+ that also have big screen, they came across samiller situations, but no downside at all. Will ne'er recommend nexus series to anyone else.
Nexus 6 is the best android mobile phone I've ever used. "Pure Google" as they say. It's powerful, Lollipop 5.x, no bloat ware, and feels svelte in your hand. I like it. My solely complaint is the cases available for it ar very plastic-y.
First of all, the size isn't a problem at all. I am on my second , and when returning it for a replacement, the second works absolutely. You'll nitpick details about camera apertures and display technologies all you want, but when you've got it, you do not think about any of those things. Nice phone.
At first the phone was large in my hands but now it seems like its simply the proper size. The phone is a beast!! literally it'll do just about anything any other phone can. The sole blunder is the front camera in low light-weight situations but apart from that, this is the phone to get!!!
The best phone I ever owned . i'll never purchase another. Has everything i need..its reliable, sleek looking and just nice. Has nice volume too which i want.
Love this phone! Still getting monthly security updates despite this being a 2014 model. Positively sticking with the Nexus line from now on...
Great phone, better part is it's pure Google, so it does not have a bunch of bloatware that you cannot uninstall. Quick processor and smart amount of ram. It's a big,big phone though. Screen is crisp amd clear, speakers sound superb. Nice for watching videos and movies. Works on Sprint and t-mobile mobile and att and i think verizon too. Not many unlocked phones that work on cdma and gsm. Nice phone ever.
1 year after and still work fine.
I buy it for my wife but seems like a pretty nice phone, with all the upgrades from android initially hand.
The camera is nice. And you can play games without freeze the screen. Also The camera open pretty fast, and the Camera have HDR so the photos ar really cool, I mean capture nice detail even in dark scenarios.
I think is a nice phone, with a very good performance for those who prefer to play games in the cellphone and have lots of apps.
The Nexus line of phones is the thanks to select powerusers these days. The unlocked bootloader makes installing custom roms and such much easier. Battery life for this phone had been nice. I have dropped the phone numerous times and haven't noticed any scratches or cracks on the screen. User interface is snappy and intuitive. Amazing phone.
Best smart phone I actually have ever had, i can not go back to low-cost smart phones each again. This phone is simply as good as a iPhone no matter or a Samsung Galaxy 6 at half the worth and you get better update straight from Google.
Best phone I ever owned, tried the Nexus six and you can have it the six is that the whale sleek as silk fabulous with the Android 6.0.1 system.
