The phone is just OK. All of the functions on the phone worked fine. One day out of nowhere the phone part stopped working. Could not make calls or receive them. Still well under warranty (only 4 months old), I contacted Samsung who advised me that this phone was made in a country they could not determine and little help would be available. They advised I could do some research on my own to find out where the phone was built and call back. Needless to say I was not thrilled. I called customer service back on another number. They tried to assist but could not fix the problem. I looked up on the internet this specific issue and found a web site that advised 10 things that should be shut off on this phone. I tried it and it worked. Still working but all of the above was frustrating and cost me two full weeks of frustration.
Doesn’t work. Don’t buy in the USA!
Slow, the battery drains quickly, it turns off constantly
This has to be the worst phone I've ever had, and I only have cheap phones. I had to get rid of Galaxy Grand Prime because it wouldn't support some applications. This POS, now...I have external card BUT YOU CAN'T MOVE ANYTHING TO IT. How freaking useless is that. Constantly get notified I have too many files and storage is running out. Answering a call is an exercise in frustration, you can swipe any which way and it's arbitrary as to which direction will allow me to answer. I have sounds enabled, but sometimes the sounds override everything so while I'm trying to answer a call it's still ringing/beeping/playing. There's more, but that's my main hates. Getting rid of this thing ASAP.
Worst issue: Cannot move any apps to the SD card. It is basically a keep your photos in sd card like a virtual wallet. So after getting the phone with 16gigs, prepare for at least 10 of those gigs to be bloatware and system usage. So if you add any games, they cannot be moved to the sd card like on other phones and must consume what is left. If you don't plan on using any games or any other downloadable apps then you're good to go.#2: No voicemail app. You must download an app from another source which of course takes up part of the 16 gigs. I've never had a phone that didn't have a pre-installed voicemail app.#3: The minimum reminder notification for any texts, calls or voicemail is 3 minutes and no vibration on pick-up. Maybe it's the phone I received. But it is set for vibrate and badge alert but I am not receiving vibrate alert. In past phones, the phone would vibrate if I missed a text or call just on picking the phone up. This phone does not do that. In order to know that I missed something, I either have to physically look at the phone or catch the notification at the 3 minute mark.Just not a big fan of this phone.
