About us

Our story, products and support

Who is MyWorldPhone?

MyWorldPhone.com is operated by Marvel Telecom Inc., a family-run wireless business based in New York. We sell unlocked mobile phones, accessories, and related electronics to customers in the United States and internationally.

How long have you been in business?

MyWorldPhone was founded in 1998. Our family-run business helps customers compare devices, understand regional models, and choose phones for their needs.

What does MyWorldPhone specialize in?

We specialize in unlocked phones, including international and regional versions that may offer different storage, colors, SIM configurations, or features from models sold by local carriers.

Where are you based?

We are based in New York, USA. Our online store serves customers across the country and in eligible international destinations.

Can I visit a retail store or collect my order?

Online orders must be shipped and cannot be picked up. To buy locally, call us first to confirm stock and arrange an available appointment time. You must pay at the location for a local purchase. Do not place an online order expecting to collect it.

Which brands can I shop for?

Our catalog includes brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, HONOR, OnePlus, Motorola, Sony, Nothing, Realme, OPPO, Nokia, ASUS, HTC, and nubia. Availability changes, so use the brand menu and current product listings.

Are your products genuine and new?

We sell genuine products. Products are brand new unless the individual listing states a different condition. Read the exact listing for the model, regional version, and included items.

How do I contact you?

For customer support and return authorization, email support@myworldphone.com. Call 1-844-CELLMAX (1-844-235-5629) or +1 (718) 690-2955. For wire-transfer instructions and Zelle payment confirmation, email sales@myworldphone.com. Include your order number when asking about a purchase.

When is phone and chat support available?

Phone and Shopify chat support are available Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Saturday, noon–5:00 PM, Eastern Time. We are closed on Sunday.

Choosing a phone

Models, storage and regional versions

What should I check before buying?

Start with your country, carrier, and budget. Then check the exact model number, storage, RAM, SIM type, eSIM support, camera, battery, software support, warranty region, and box contents. Ask us about any feature you cannot confirm.

Why does the exact model number matter?

A phone family can have several regional versions. Two phones with the same marketing name may have different frequency bands, SIM trays, software, charging plugs, or warranty coverage. Compare the full model code, not just the phone name.

What is an international version?

It is a version intended for a market outside your country. It may be a good fit, but check carrier approval, regional features, language support, accessories, and manufacturer service before ordering.

Is an international phone fake or refurbished?

No. A regional designation describes the intended market, not authenticity or condition. Check the separate condition description to determine whether the item is new, used, or refurbished.

How much storage do I need?

128GB can suit lighter use. 256GB gives more room for apps, photos, and downloaded media. Consider 512GB or more for large video libraries or heavy offline use. Check your current phone’s storage usage before deciding.

What is the difference between RAM and storage?

RAM is working memory used while apps are running. Storage holds your apps, photos, videos, and files. A listing such as 12GB RAM and 256GB storage describes two different capacities.

Does virtual RAM equal physical RAM?

No. Virtual RAM borrows part of the phone’s storage and is generally slower than physical RAM. Compare the actual installed RAM when evaluating two phones.

Can I add a memory card?

Only if the exact model has a compatible memory-card slot. Some phones have no slot; some share a tray position between a second SIM and a microSD card. Check before buying.

Should I buy a foldable phone?

A foldable can give you a larger working screen in a compact form. Consider thickness, weight, hinge design, inner-screen care, case availability, and repair options alongside the display size.

Can you help me choose between models?

Yes. Send the product links, your budget, carrier, country, and priorities such as battery life, camera, gaming, or small size. Tell us which features are essential so we can focus the comparison.

Price & value

Compare the total cost

How should I compare prices between stores?

Compare the exact model code, condition, storage, regional version, box contents, delivery cost, return terms, and warranty availability. A lower advertised price may describe a different version or package.

Do I need the newest or most expensive phone?

Not always. A phone that meets your needs and has suitable software support can offer better value than paying for features you rarely use. Start with the tasks your current phone struggles to handle.

Can an older flagship be good value?

It can, especially for cameras, displays, and build quality. Check remaining software support, battery considerations, network compatibility, and repair availability before choosing it over a newer midrange phone.

How do I calculate the real cost of a phone?

Add the purchase price, applicable tax, shipping, accessories you need, and any financing cost. International buyers should also allow for import charges and currency-conversion fees. Compare the total before deciding.

What is an example of total ownership cost?

A $500 phone plus $40 of accessories costs $540 before tax, shipping, or financing. Spread over 36 months, that is $15 per month for the hardware. Mobile service and any repairs are separate. This is a comparison example, not a financing offer.

Will buying unlocked lower my monthly phone bill?

It gives you more freedom to compare compatible plans, but savings depend on the plan you choose. Include any remaining balance or lost promotional credits on your current carrier agreement when comparing costs.

How do I avoid paying for features I do not need?

Prioritize the features you use every day. For example, storage may matter more than a top gaming processor if you mainly keep photos and videos. For calls and messaging, dependable compatibility may matter more than camera resolution.

Do you offer discounts or coupon codes?

Check current website offers and promotional emails. Enter your code before paying and confirm that the discount appears in the total. Eligibility, exclusions, and expiration dates depend on the promotion.

Why does my coupon not work?

Check the spelling, expiration date, qualifying products, minimum spend, and whether the offer is limited to certain customers. Some discounts cannot be combined. Contact us with the code and product link if you need help.

Can I request a price match or an adjustment after purchase?

Contact us with the exact competing listing or your order details. Do not assume a price match or adjustment is available unless our team confirms it for your purchase.

Carrier compatibility

Networks, bands and activation

What does unlocked mean?

An unlocked phone is not restricted to one carrier’s SIM. It still needs compatible hardware, software, and carrier approval to activate and provide the features you expect.

Does GSM unlocked mean every carrier will accept it?

No. The GSM label alone is not enough to establish modern network compatibility. Check the carrier’s device requirements and the exact regional model, including LTE or 5G bands and voice support.

How do I check compatibility before ordering?

Ask your carrier about the exact model code and regional version. Use its official bring-your-own-device checker with the IMEI when available. Confirm calls, texts, mobile data, and any must-have features separately.

What is an IMEI?

An IMEI is a device identification number used by mobile networks. You can usually find it in the phone’s settings or by dialing *#06#. Dual-SIM devices may have more than one IMEI. Share it privately with support or your carrier when needed.

Will a phone work on AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile?

Do not assume compatibility from the brand alone. Each carrier has its own activation requirements, approved devices, and supported features. Ask the intended carrier to confirm the exact version before purchase.

What about Mint, Tello, Cricket, Metro, Visible, or Google Fi?

Check with that provider directly. Using another carrier’s network does not mean every device or feature accepted by the main carrier will be available on the smaller provider’s plans.

Why can mobile data work while calls do not?

Voice service can require carrier-supported VoLTE and correct account provisioning. A phone may connect for data but still lack supported voice service. Ask the carrier to check activation, voice support, and your plan.

What is VoLTE?

VoLTE means voice calling over a 4G LTE network. It requires support from both the phone and the carrier. Seeing LTE data on the screen does not prove that voice calling is fully supported.

Will Wi-Fi Calling and visual voicemail work?

These features depend on the exact model, firmware, carrier, and plan. An unlocked phone may support normal calls while a carrier-specific feature remains unavailable. Confirm essential features before ordering.

Why does a 5G phone show 4G or LTE?

Your location, plan, SIM, network settings, coverage, and supported bands all matter. A 5G-capable device does not receive 5G everywhere, and an imported model may not support all of a carrier’s bands.

Does band support guarantee coverage?

No. Matching bands is one part of compatibility. Carrier certification, antenna performance, local coverage, congestion, and building materials can also affect service.

Can I use the phone abroad?

Possibly, with a compatible local SIM, travel eSIM, or roaming plan. Check the destination network, device version, and plan restrictions. Your carrier’s roaming charges are separate from the phone purchase.

SIM & eSIM

Physical SIMs and digital SIMs

What is a physical SIM?

A physical SIM is a removable card supplied by a mobile provider. Most recent phones that use physical SIMs take a nano-SIM, but check the exact device. The SIM and service plan are usually arranged separately.

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM lets you download a mobile plan to a supported phone without inserting a plastic SIM card. The device version and your carrier must both support activation.

Does every version of a phone support eSIM?

No. eSIM support can vary by region even within the same phone family. Check the exact model and the listing’s eSIM information, then confirm acceptance with your provider.

Does dual SIM always mean two physical SIM slots?

No. It may mean two physical SIMs, a physical SIM plus eSIM, or two eSIMs. Confirm the supported combination and how many lines can be active together.

Can I use two carriers on one phone?

A compatible unlocked dual-SIM phone can often use plans from two providers. Check the supported SIM combination and each provider’s activation rules. You can usually choose default lines for calls and mobile data.

Can both lines use mobile data at the same time?

Many dual-SIM phones use one selected cellular data line at a time. Some can switch lines automatically, but that is different from combining both connections. Behavior depends on the phone and settings.

How do I activate an eSIM?

Follow your carrier’s instructions while connected to reliable Wi-Fi. You may receive a QR code, an app-based setup, or a direct transfer option. Keep your old service active until you confirm the new line works.

What is an EID?

An EID identifies the embedded SIM hardware. A carrier may request it during eSIM setup. Its presence can help identify eSIM hardware, but it does not guarantee that a specific provider will activate the phone.

Can I move an eSIM to another phone?

Follow your carrier’s transfer process. Some providers allow direct transfer; others issue a new activation code. Do not delete the working eSIM until you understand how service will be restored.

Can I use a travel eSIM for calls and texts?

Some travel plans are data-only. They may support messaging apps over data without supplying a regular phone number, SMS, or voice calls. Read the plan details before paying.

Can I use PayPal or Venmo?

Yes, for orders shipped within the USA, subject to provider and checkout availability. PayPal and Venmo are not accepted for orders shipped outside the USA.

What is Shop Pay?

Shop Pay can speed up checkout by using information saved to your Shop account. Paying with Shop Pay in full is different from applying for Shop Pay Installments.

Can I pay in installments?

For orders shipped within the USA, eligible customers can select Shop Pay Installments when available at checkout. Review the schedule, any interest, and the total amount before accepting. Approval and plans are determined by the financing provider.

Are all installment plans interest-free?

No. Terms vary by the offer presented to you. Do not assume that a small monthly payment means no interest. Compare the full repayment amount with the price for paying in full.

Does every customer qualify for financing?

No. Eligibility depends on the financing provider, location, purchase, and other requirements. MyWorldPhone cannot guarantee approval or change the provider’s decision.

Can an international customer use installments?

Orders shipped outside the USA are not eligible for our installment checkout option; payment is by wire transfer or BitPay only. For orders shipped within the USA, Shop Pay Installments remains subject to provider eligibility.

What happens to installments if I return an item?

Can I use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay?

Yes. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Amazon Pay are active for orders shipped within the USA, subject to provider and checkout availability. For delivery outside the USA, use wire transfer or BitPay only.

Why was my card declined or payment delayed?

Check the billing address, card details, available funds, and any bank verification prompt. Your bank may need to authorize the purchase. Before trying repeatedly, check whether an order or pending charge already exists.

Why am I being asked to verify an order?

We may need to verify billing, delivery, or payment details before fulfillment. Respond through our official support channel. Never send your full card number, password, or one-time banking code by email.

Can I split payment across methods?

Contact us before ordering if you need a special payment arrangement. Do not send a partial bank payment assuming checkout can combine it with a card or wallet payment.

International payments

Wire transfer or BitPay for delivery outside the USA

How can I pay for an order shipped outside the USA?

For orders shipped outside the USA, we accept wire transfer or cryptocurrency through BitPay. You can choose either option. These payment requirements depend on the shipping destination, not your nationality.

Can I pay internationally without using cryptocurrency?

Yes. You can pay by wire transfer instead. Email sales@myworldphone.com for wire-transfer instructions before sending payment.

What is BitPay?

BitPay is a payment service that lets customers pay with supported cryptocurrencies. It is an alternative to wire transfer for orders shipped outside the USA. If you prefer not to use cryptocurrency, choose wire transfer.

Do orders shipped within the USA have to use wire transfer or BitPay?

No. Orders shipped within the USA can use our regular payment options, including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Shop Pay, and other supported methods. Shop Pay Installments is available to eligible customers. Provider eligibility and checkout availability apply.

Which cryptocurrencies and networks can I use with BitPay?

Use only the currency and network offered on your live BitPay invoice. Supported options can change. Do not assume a coin or network is accepted just because your wallet supports it.

How do I complete a BitPay payment?

Choose BitPay when it is offered during checkout. Open the payment invoice, choose a supported payment option, and follow the displayed wallet instructions. Check the amount, network, destination, and invoice timing before approving the transfer.

What if I send the wrong amount or the BitPay invoice expires?

Check the invoice status and contact BitPay support and our team with your order reference and transaction ID. Do not send a second payment until the first transaction has been checked.

How are cryptocurrency refunds handled?

Contact us about an eligible return or cancellation. The refund process depends on BitPay’s applicable procedures. Do not assume you will receive the same number of coins or that network fees will be refunded.

Orders & offers

Placing and managing an order

How do I place an order?

Choose the exact product, storage, color, and version, then add it to your cart. Review the address, shipping option, payment method, and final total. Save the confirmation after checkout.

Does adding an item to my cart reserve it?

No. A cart does not reserve stock. Availability can change before your order is accepted and fulfilled.

What should I check in my order confirmation?

Check the model, color, capacity, quantity, delivery address, and contact details. Contact us promptly if something is incorrect so we can review the order before it ships.

Why did I not receive a confirmation email?

Check spam and promotions folders and confirm which email address you used. If payment appears to have gone through, contact us before placing another order.

Can I change the color, model, or address?

Contact us immediately with your order number and requested change. Changes may not be possible once fulfillment begins, and a new order may be needed.

Can I cancel an order?

Request cancellation immediately. There is no cancellation fee when cancellation is completed before shipping. After shipment, use the return process.

Do you offer free gifts with phones?

Every phone purchase includes a 3-in-1 charger and a phone cleaner, while supplies last.

Can I choose or exchange a promotional gift?

Ask before ordering if a particular accessory is essential. Do not assume gift substitutions, cash alternatives, or separate exchanges are available.

Does a gift work with every phone?

Check the accessory and exact phone for compatibility. A matching connector does not guarantee a particular fast-charging speed. Follow the cleaner instructions and keep liquid away from device openings.

Must I return the free gifts if I return my phone?

No. You may keep the promotional 3-in-1 charger and phone cleaner as our gift. We do not deduct their value from your refund.

Do marketplace orders follow the same process?

If you bought through Amazon, Walmart, or another marketplace, start with that order page and its support or return process. Include the marketplace order number when contacting us.

What is the same-day shipping cutoff?

Verified, in-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, generally ship the same business day. Order verification, holidays, and other exceptions can affect dispatch.

Is standard shipping free?

Standard U.S. shipping is free under our Shipping Policy. Expedited and international services cost extra.

Does expedited shipping guarantee immediate dispatch?

No. Processing and verification come before carrier transit.

How do I track my order?

Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation. Initial scans can take time to appear.

Will I need to sign?

A signature may be required. Arrange for someone authorized to receive the package.

Can you redirect a shipped package?

Contact us promptly. Rerouting or carrier pickup cannot be guaranteed.

Do you ship to PO boxes or special addresses?

Restrictions can apply. Confirm availability for your address and selected service.

What if delivery is late or the package is missing?

Check tracking and nearby receiving areas, then contact us and the carrier promptly.

International orders

Payment, customs and duties

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to eligible destinations shown at checkout; availability varies by product and service.

Who pays import charges?

The customer is responsible for import duties, import taxes, and customs-clearance fees for orders shipped outside the USA.

Can you reduce the customs value or mark it as a gift?

No. Commercial shipments are declared accurately.

What should I check before ordering from another country?

Check network compatibility, warranty region, charging requirements, import rules, and the full delivered cost. If your country requires phone registration or IMEI registration, confirm the procedure with the relevant local authority before purchase.

Does a country selector guarantee delivery?

No. The country selector is a browsing setting. Enter the full destination at checkout to check the available delivery and payment options.

Can I pay by card for an order shipped outside the USA?

No. Orders shipped outside the USA accept wire transfer or cryptocurrency through BitPay only. Email sales@myworldphone.com to arrange a wire transfer. Orders shipped within the USA may use any of our supported methods, subject to provider eligibility.

How can I estimate whether importing is good value?

Compare the phone price plus delivery, import charges, payment fees, and any required accessories with your local alternative. Consider manufacturer service access and the cost of a possible return as well.

Should I buy a plug adapter or a voltage converter?

Check the charger’s input label. A charger marked 100–240V generally supports that voltage range, but you may need a plug adapter. A plug adapter does not convert voltage. Confirm local electrical requirements if unsure.

Can I order a phone for someone in another country?

Check the recipient’s carrier and the exact model first. Use accurate delivery and contact details, and make sure the recipient understands any import or activation steps before ordering.

Returns & warranty

Eligibility, refunds and coverage

How long do I have to request a return?

Eligible returns must be requested within 30 calendar days of delivery.

How do I request authorization?

Email support@myworldphone.com with your order number, item, reason for return, and relevant photos. You must receive return authorization and instructions before sending anything back.

How soon should I ship an authorized return?

Follow the dispatch instructions provided with your return authorization. Contact support@myworldphone.com promptly if you cannot meet the requested timing.

Can opened phones be returned?

Yes, if the return meets our condition requirements. No restocking fee applies to a factory-sealed phone or an opened phone that was never activated. Activated phones returned because you changed your mind, or phones showing use, are subject to a 15%–20% restocking fee based on condition and usage. Defective, incorrect, and arrival-damaged items are handled as explained below.

Is there a restocking fee?

There is no restocking fee for a factory-sealed phone or an opened phone that was never activated. A 15%–20% fee applies to activated or used phones returned for reasons such as a change of mind, with the percentage determined after inspection based on condition and usage. We do not accept ordinary returns with physical damage or missing original accessories. Defective, incorrect, and arrival-damaged items do not incur a restocking fee.

What about a confirmed defect or wrong item?

Contact support@myworldphone.com for authorization and return the item. For a defective phone, an incorrect item we sent, or a phone that arrived damaged, you may choose an exchange or a full refund with no restocking fee. Within the USA, we provide a free prepaid return label. For international returns, we cannot issue labels or reimburse return-shipping costs, including for defective, incorrect, or arrival-damaged items.

Is return shipping always free?

We provide a prepaid return label at no charge within the USA for authorized returns within 30 days of delivery, including change-of-mind returns. For international returns, customers arrange and pay for return shipping. We cannot issue international labels or reimburse international return-shipping costs, even for defective or incorrect items.

What should I send back?

Return the phone in its original box with the tray, manuals, all original accessories, and everything originally supplied with the phone. Missing original accessories or physical damage make an ordinary return ineligible. The free promotional 3-in-1 charger and phone cleaner are an exception: you may keep them as our gift, with no deduction.

Who provides the warranty?

After the 30-day return period, manufacturer warranty applies where available for the exact model and region. We do not provide an additional store warranty. You can purchase extended warranty coverage directly from CPS or email support@myworldphone.com to purchase CPS coverage through us. Coverage and exclusions depend on the plan purchased.

What if my phone is damaged on its way back to you?

If the phone is damaged during return shipping to us, you must contact the carrier about the damage. Keep your shipping receipt, tracking details, and photos of the packed item.

Where are the complete conditions?

Read our Refund Policy and contact support@myworldphone.com for return authorization and instructions. Report defects, incorrect items, or damage present on arrival so we can handle them under the applicable exception.

Prepare a return

Reset, pack and send your phone

What should I do before erasing my phone?

Back up photos, files, contacts, and authenticator accounts. Confirm that the backup is accessible and that you can sign in elsewhere. A factory reset can permanently remove locally stored information.

How should I remove my accounts?

Before returning a phone, remove all linked accounts, passwords, screen locks, and activation or anti-theft locks, then factory reset it. The returned phone must not have a password or lock. Removing a screen PIN alone does not remove an account-based activation lock.

Should I remove my SIM and memory card?

Yes, remove your personal physical SIM and memory card unless support specifically instructs otherwise. For eSIM, arrange continued service or transfer with your carrier before deleting the profile.

Must I factory reset the phone before returning it?

Yes. Back up your information, remove all linked accounts and locks, and factory reset the phone before returning it. The phone must not have any password, screen lock, or activation lock. Contact support before shipping if a defect prevents you from completing these steps.

What if I cannot unlock or reset the device?

Tell support before sending it. Use the manufacturer’s legitimate account-recovery process. Do not send passwords in the package or attempt to bypass another person’s account lock.

How should I pack the phone?

Use the retail packaging inside a sturdy shipping box with cushioning. Protect accessories from moving against the screen. Follow the return label and carrier instructions, especially for devices containing batteries.

What records should I keep?

Keep the authorization, tracking number, shipping receipt, and photos of the item and packed contents. These help explain the condition and shipment if a question arises.

When will my refund appear?

We issue refunds within 7 business days after receiving the return; this period includes inspection. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit. Contact support@myworldphone.com with your order number and return tracking if you need an update.

What if my battery is swollen or damaged?

Stop using and charging the device. Contact support before shipping it, because damaged batteries require special handling. Do not place it in an ordinary return shipment without appropriate instructions.

05 / Make the most of your phone

Cameras & performance

Understand your phone’s features

Does more megapixels mean a better camera?

Not automatically. Sensor quality, lens quality, stabilization, processing, and lighting all affect results. Compare real-world photos and the types of shots you take, not just the megapixel number.

What is optical image stabilization?

OIS uses physical movement in the camera system to reduce the effect of small hand movements. It can help in low light and with some video, but it cannot stop a moving subject from blurring.

What is optical zoom compared with digital zoom?

Optical zoom uses the lens system to magnify the subject. Digital zoom crops or processes the image. Camera systems vary, so check which zoom levels use a dedicated camera on the exact model.

What does a 120Hz display mean?

It can refresh up to 120 times per second, which can make scrolling and supported games look smoother. Actual refresh rate and battery impact depend on the phone, app, and settings.

What is the difference between OLED and LCD?

OLED pixels emit their own light, allowing deep blacks. LCD uses a backlight. Brightness, resolution, color tuning, and your viewing comfort also matter, so display type alone does not determine quality.

Is a larger battery always better?

A higher mAh rating indicates more charge capacity, but runtime also depends on screen settings, processor efficiency, signal strength, software, and use. Compare battery tests for the exact phone when possible.

Which specifications matter for gaming?

Look at the processor, graphics performance, cooling, RAM, display, and sustained performance. A high refresh-rate screen cannot make every game run at that frame rate.

Is a water-resistant phone waterproof?

No. An IP rating describes specific laboratory conditions. Wear, damage, repairs, and exposure conditions can reduce protection. Follow the manufacturer’s limits and do not assume liquid damage is covered by warranty.

Will my phone receive Android and security updates?

The manufacturer controls update schedules for the exact model and region. Check its support commitment before buying, especially for older devices. A recent purchase date does not restart a model’s support period.

Back to topics ↑

Charging & accessories

Chargers, cables and cases

Will a wall charger be included?

Check the package contents for the exact listing. Some models include a charger and others include only a cable. The plug type and included power adapter can differ by region.

Can I use a more powerful USB charger?

A properly designed, compatible USB charger and device negotiate the power used. A 100W label does not mean a phone receives 100W. Choose reputable equipment that supports the phone’s charging requirements.

Why is fast charging not working?

Check the adapter, cable, charging protocol, battery level, and phone temperature. Some brands require a matching proprietary charger and cable for their advertised maximum speed.

What are USB Power Delivery and PPS?

USB Power Delivery is a charging standard that allows compatible devices and chargers to negotiate power. PPS is an optional feature that can adjust voltage and current more closely. Both the device and charger need the relevant support.

Does a USB-C connector guarantee fast data transfer?

No. Connector shape does not tell you the charging rating, data speed, or video-output capability. Read the cable and device specifications for the function you need.

Can a multiport charger deliver its maximum to every port?

Usually the advertised total is shared. Per-port limits and power allocation change when several devices are connected. Check the charger’s output table for the combination you plan to use.

Will every phone support wireless charging?

No. Wireless charging requires built-in support or a suitable accessory. A magnetic case or ring alone does not add wireless-charging hardware to a phone.

Why does wireless charging stop or feel slow?

Check alignment, case thickness, metal attachments, adapter power, and temperature. Remove objects between the phone and charger and follow the manufacturer’s placement instructions.

How do I choose a case or screen protector?

Match the exact model and version. Similar names can hide different dimensions, camera layouts, or curved screens. Foldable phones may have manufacturer-installed inner-screen protection that should not be removed casually.

Can a high-power charger charge a laptop too?

Only if the laptop accepts the supported charging standard and the selected port and cable provide enough power. The charger’s total rating alone does not establish laptop compatibility.

Setup & troubleshooting

Get your new phone working

What should I do when my phone arrives?

Check the model and contents, inspect for visible damage, and keep the packaging. Connect to Wi-Fi, complete setup, install official updates, and test your intended carrier and essential features promptly.

How do I transfer information from my old phone?

Use the manufacturer’s supported transfer tool or your cloud backup. Keep the old phone available until you confirm your photos, contacts, messages, and important apps transferred correctly.

Will my banking apps and authenticator codes transfer?

Not always. Some require a new sign-in, identity verification, or their own transfer process. Prepare recovery codes and follow each app’s instructions before erasing the old phone.

My SIM is detected but I have no service. What should I check?

Confirm the line is active, airplane mode is off, the correct SIM is enabled, and the phone is supported by the carrier. Restart the device and ask the carrier to check provisioning and the IMEI.

What is an APN?

An Access Point Name is a carrier setting used for mobile data and related services. Use the settings supplied by your own provider. Changing APNs cannot add missing hardware bands or carrier approval.

What if calls work but mobile data or picture messages do not?

Check the active data SIM, data allowance, APN, and messaging settings. Ask the provider to verify the account and use its official configuration instructions for your plan.

Why do texts fail after changing from an iPhone?

If messages are still going to the old Apple service, check iMessage deregistration. When changing Android messaging setups, RCS registration can also need attention. Follow the relevant service’s instructions.

What if Google Play says the device is not certified?

In Google Play, open your profile, Settings, and About to check certification. Save the exact message and contact us or the manufacturer. Turning off Play Protect does not fix device certification. Avoid unverified firmware downloads.

Will all Android phones include the same Google apps?

No. Regional software and certification matter. Confirm Google Play and any essential apps for the exact version before ordering; do not assume that installing an app manually makes every service compatible.

Why are notifications delayed?

Check notification permissions, battery optimization, background-data access, and any app-specific settings. Some phones manage background apps aggressively. Change settings only for apps that need timely alerts.

Why does my new battery seem to drain quickly?

Initial updates, file transfers, indexing, and app downloads can use extra power. Check battery usage after setup settles. Persistent drain, unusual heat, or shutdowns should be reported with screenshots and details.

What should I do if the phone will not charge or start?

Try a known-good compatible cable, adapter, and outlet. Allow time for a deeply discharged battery to charge and follow the manufacturer’s restart instructions. Stop if there is swelling, damage, or abnormal heat.

Can I reset network settings?

It can help with connection problems, but read the confirmation screen first. The reset may remove saved Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth pairings, and other connection settings. Back up information needed to reconnect.

Should I install a different ROM or unlock the bootloader?

Contact the manufacturer or our support team before making system changes. Firmware changes can affect updates, apps, compatibility, and service eligibility. A carrier-unlocked phone does not require an unlocked bootloader.

What information helps support troubleshoot?

Send your order number, exact model, country, carrier, software version, error message, when the issue occurs, and what you already tried. Include clear photos or screenshots without exposing passwords or payment details.

Business orders, privacy and reviews

Do you sell wholesale or to businesses?

Yes. We work with qualified retail stores, resellers, repair shops, distributors, and international buyers. Contact wholesale@myworldphone.com to discuss your business and requirements.

How do I get wholesale prices?

Apply or contact the B2B team. Approved partners can receive access to the wholesale price list. Request a current quote for the exact models and quantities you need.

Is there a minimum wholesale quantity?

Ask the team for the minimum, payment terms, stock, and shipping terms for your order. Do not assume a retail promotion or coupon applies to a wholesale quote.

Can I request a business invoice?

Contact us with your order number and the correct business details. If you need specific invoice information before buying, raise it before placing the order.

How is my personal information used?

Our Privacy Policy explains information collected for orders, payments, delivery, support, security, analytics, and marketing, along with applicable choices and rights. Review it for the full details.

How can I reduce marketing emails?

Use the unsubscribe link in promotional emails. Order, delivery, and other service messages may still be needed for your purchase. Contact support if you need help with your preferences.

How do I protect myself from fake payment requests?

Use the official website and verify unexpected payment instructions with our team. Do not share login passwords, banking codes, or wallet recovery phrases. Contact us if a message about your order seems suspicious.

Can I leave a product review?

We welcome honest feedback about your experience. Follow the review option on the product page or a review request you receive. Do not include your address, full IMEI, order details, or other private information in a public review.

What if I still cannot find the answer?

Contact support@myworldphone.com with the product link or order number and your question. For compatibility questions, include your country and carrier so we can give more useful guidance.
